Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative 4 - Insurance Follow Up to join their Government Payers team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of clean claims and serve in the absence of the supervisor or manager
  • Resolve complex issues by coordinating actions with team members, Patient Accounts staff, and payers
  • Document all account activity and maintain knowledge of payer requirements and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Associate Degree or three additional years of relevant experience
  • Experience: 3 years in revenue cycle, finance, customer service, or data analytics
  • Expertise in Insurance Follow-Up is highly preferred
  • Experience with Government payer claims processing is preferred
  • Proficiency in hospital billing systems and knowledge of insurance compliance regulations
