Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative 4 - Insurance Follow Up to join their Denials team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of clean claims and serve in the absence of the supervisor or manager
- Resolve complex issues through coordination with team members and other departments, ensuring claims are reviewed and corrections made within 24 hours
- Document account activity professionally and maintain knowledge of payer requirements and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree or three additional years of relevant experience
- Experience: 3 years in revenue cycle, finance, customer service, or data analytics
- Preferred: Expertise in Insurance Follow-Up Denials and proficiency in hospital billing systems
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to analyze patient accounts and resolve billing or insurance issues effectively
