Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for determining patient financial components, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits, educate them on financial assistance programs, and collect patient financial responsibilities while working remotely from MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Key responsibilities

• Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including co-payments and deductibles
• Educates patients regarding financial assistance programs when appropriate
• Obtains patient demographic information and determines qualification for coverage by third-party payers

Required qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred
• Experience with Epic and proficient computer skills
• No prior experience required
