Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle, the full-time remote Patient Financial Services Representative will manage patient billing and collection activities, work with insurance companies to obtain payments, and resolve outstanding issues related to accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, and claims while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Reconcile account balances, pursue payments, and handle denials to maximize reimbursement
• Research payment discrepancies and communicate effectively with internal and external customers to resolve issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Insurance Accounts Receivable
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and posting errors
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of patient financial services and the insurance industry
