Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

To support efficient billing operations, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative - Hospital Billing will manage outstanding and denied accounts receivable using the Epic Hospital Billing System while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize the Epic system to review and monitor accounts, ensuring timely billing and collections
• Contact insurance carriers to confirm payment statuses and resolve claim denials
• Document all actions taken on accounts and escalate problem accounts to management as needed

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least two years of accounts receivable or billing experience
• Experience with revenue cycle billing preferred
• Familiarity with the Epic billing system preferred
