Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient financial counseling, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, estimate financial responsibilities, and educate them on financial assistance programs while working remotely from MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including co-payments and deductibles
• Educate patients about financial assistance programs and obtain necessary demographic information
• Verify insurance coverage and document patient inquiries or concerns in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• No prior experience required
• Familiarity with medical billing and electronic health records (EHR) preferred
• Ability to work remotely from MO, IL, OK, or WI
• Strong customer service and computer skills
