Job Summary
Providing essential support to patients, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will manage inbound calls to explain billing and insurance processes, counsel on financial solutions, and ensure accurate account handling in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls accurately while providing compassionate service regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Process patient and insurance requests for follow-up, ensuring timely resolution of billing issues
- Maintain compliance with Revenue Cycle policies and assist patients in understanding their financial obligations and available assistance programs
Required qualifications
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong interest in learning new information systems (e.g., PASS, Deloitte overlay system, Healthworks)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
