Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

Managing high volumes of patient accounts, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will serve as the primary contact for patients to discuss outstanding statements and resolve inquiries while providing support for insurance, coding, registration, and financial assistance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve inquiries related to outstanding patient accounts and provide efficient support for billing-related issues
• Perform routine account analysis and develop action plans to address financial responsibilities with patients
• Follow up on delinquent accounts and payment plans, including communication via phone and written correspondence

Required qualifications

• Experience handling cash payments and self-pay collections
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency in using office equipment and software applications related to billing
