Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient financial services, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will determine patient financial responsibilities, assist with insurance benefits, and provide financial counseling while working remotely from MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Key responsibilities

• Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
• Educates patients about financial assistance programs when applicable
• Obtains patient demographic information and verifies coverage with third-party payers

Required qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• No prior experience required
• Ability to perform frequent data entry and use of computer systems
• Must reside in MO, IL, OK, or WI
• Physical ability to lift/carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently
