Patient Financial Services Representative

Job Summary

To support patient financial services, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will estimate, communicate, and collect patient financial responsibilities while providing financial counseling in a remote capacity for residents of MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Key responsibilities:

• Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance responsibilities
• Educates patients about financial assistance programs and verifies insurance coverage and eligibility
• Documents and resolves patient inquiries received via telephone, mail, or in-person within established time frames

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• No prior experience required
• Experience with Epic, Hospital Billing (HB), and Professional Billing (PB) preferred
• Proficient computer skills
