Patient Financial Services Representative
Job Summary
To support patient financial counseling, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will work remotely to assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, estimate financial responsibilities, and communicate financial assistance options.
Key responsibilities
- Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including co-payments and deductibles
- Educates patients about financial assistance programs and verifies insurance coverage
- Documents and resolves patient inquiries received via various communication channels
Required qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
- Experience with Epic and call center operations preferred
- Strong computer proficiency
- Ability to reside in MO, IL, OK, or WI
- No prior experience required
