Job Summary
To support patient financial services, the full-time Patient Financial Services Representative will assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, communicate financial responsibilities, and provide financial counseling while working remotely from MO, IL, OK, or WI.
Key responsibilities
- Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including co-payments and deductibles
- Educates patients about financial assistance programs when applicable
- Obtains patient demographic information and verifies insurance coverage with third-party payers
Required qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
- No prior experience required
- Proficiency in using insurance portals and computer systems
- Strong understanding of insurance processes
- Excellent customer service skills
