Patient Financial Services Specialist

Job Summary

Providing patient relations support, the full-time Fin Care Specialist I will manage customer inquiries and issues related to Patient Financial Services while working remotely from approved states.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve customer inquiries and concerns regarding billing and collections
• Follow up on accounts to ensure payment and resolution, maintaining strong customer satisfaction
• Interpret and explain payor contracts and billing policies while potentially cross-training in other revenue cycle functions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree in business administration or related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital billing or professional billing experience required
• Experience in customer service and call center environments is necessary
