Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Financial Services Specialist will manage claim verifications, follow up on payment denials, and draft appeals as necessary to ensure timely resolution of account balances.

Key responsibilities

• Verifies claims and follows up with payers to obtain payment through phone calls and online portals
• Reviews denial reasons and takes appropriate actions, including resubmissions or appeals
• Collaborates with other departments to resolve outstanding claims and improve processes

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in healthcare billing preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic understanding of working with multiple software applications simultaneously
