Patient Financial Services Supervisor

Job Summary

Leading a team of 25 Insurance Specialists, the full-time Patient Financial Services Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensuring departmental goals and productivity standards are met while providing training and performance management in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor team members on patient financial services processes and departmental policies
• Monitor employee performance and manage time and attendance, including scheduling and accountability
• Oversee insurance follow-up activities, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances and compliance with revenue-cycle procedures

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Two years of Revenue Cycle or customer service experience required; three years preferred
• One year of leadership experience preferred
• Coding Certification (CPC, RHIT, or RHIA) preferred
• Proficiency in Word and Excel, with the ability to train team members effectively
