Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial & Eligibility Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility and benefits for incoming patients through insurance companies
• Gather and document patient benefit details, including coverage levels and responsibilities
• Develop relationships with payors and assist clients with financial agreements and payment plans

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a medical and/or behavioral health setting
• 1+ year of experience with Medicaid and commercial medical insurance billing
• Knowledge of revenue cycle management and insurance plan benefits
• Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10/DSM5 coding
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects
