Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Specialist to assist patients with Medicaid eligibility and financial assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient intake and execute data entry into the EHR system
• Verify Medicaid coverage and assist patients with enrollment and documentation
• Design and deliver training materials and sessions related to Medicaid processes and patient financial management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 1-2 years of experience in medical billing or insurance terminology
• Background in customer service or call center environments, preferably in healthcare
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Experience in developing training materials and delivering curriculum
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with EHR/EMR or billing software systems
