Key Responsibilities
  • Determine patient qualification for financial assistance programs and payment arrangements based on confidential financial information
  • Verify coverage and authorization for scheduled procedures using scheduling and registration information
  • Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and community agencies to gather necessary information for authorization and benefits collection
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • 6 months of healthcare experience
  • Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • CPR Certification (as required by facility)
