Job Summary

Maximizing client reimbursement through accurate data entry and processing, the fully remote Patient Insurance Specialist will verify patient demographics and insurance information to submit claims in compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enter patient data from EPIC and other billing software into EMS|MC while adhering to compliance standards
• Verify patient insurance information using various online resources to enhance reimbursement accuracy
• Process pending and rejected claims promptly and provide feedback on billing process issues to supervisors

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare office or clinical environment
• Strong ability to learn new software quickly
• Familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations
• Proficient data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
