Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Intake Advocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the main phone line and address all inquiries related to medical claims
- Ensure timely documentation and education of member inquiries
- Maintain an organized inventory of claims and prioritize daily tasks accordingly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma and one (1) year relevant experience
- Experience in a medical healthcare claims role dealing with facilities, providers, and members
- Background in healthcare claims management with the ability to interpret benefit plans
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage high call volumes
- PC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and web-based applications
