Patient Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Intake Specialist to provide customer service and support during weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Act on behalf of local branch offices after hours to assist patients and referral sources
• Develop business relationships through collaboration and communication with field leadership
• Handle urgent patient setups and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years' experience in healthcare/health insurance or dispatch/transportation
• Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word
• Ability to understand and interpret spreadsheet data
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal)
