Job Summary

To support a transformative approach to healthcare, the remote Contractor Patient Intake Specialist and Care Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they are connected to telehealth services while accurately managing patient information and providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities
  • Accurately collect and input patient demographic and insurance information into electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Educate patients on accessing the patient portal and other technology tools to enhance their experience
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to complete onboarding workflows and address patient concerns
Required qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as a medical receptionist, healthcare call center representative, or similar role
  • Additional certificate or degree in healthcare administration preferred
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) software
  • Familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology
  • Ability to work weekends and occasional weekdays
