Job Summary

Supporting new patients through the admissions process, the part-time Patient Intake Specialist will gather required information, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate care steps in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and enter accurate demographic and clinical information for new patient admissions
• Verify insurance coverage, review benefits, and submit authorizations as needed
• Communicate with patients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of intake requirements

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare intake, medical office administration, or insurance support
• Experience with insurance verification or authorizations preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance workflows
