Job Summary

Supporting new patient admissions, the part-time Patient Intake Specialist will gather and verify information, review prescriptions, and coordinate care steps in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and enter accurate demographic and clinical information for new patient admissions
• Verify insurance coverage and submit follow-up authorizations as needed
• Communicate with patients and internal departments to ensure timely and compliant intake processes

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare intake, medical office administration, or insurance support
• Experience with insurance verification or authorizations preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance workflows
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases independently in a remote setting
