Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service and support, the full-time remote Patient Qualification Specialist will assist patients and providers by managing documentation and health plan authorizations to ensure timely access to care.
Key responsibilities
- Support local branch offices by reviewing new patient orders and obtaining necessary documentation for health insurance plans
- Request health plan authorizations and information as required, both electronically and verbally
- Collaborate with field leadership to develop business relationships and deliver feedback that enhances patient experiences
Required qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
- Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Intermediate level mathematical proficiency for understanding and interpreting spreadsheet data
