Patient Qualification Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service and support, the full-time remote Patient Qualification Specialist will assist patients and providers by managing documentation and health plan authorizations to ensure timely access to care.

Key responsibilities

• Support local branch offices by reviewing new patient orders and obtaining necessary documentation for health insurance plans
• Request health plan authorizations and information as required, both electronically and verbally
• Collaborate with field leadership to develop business relationships and deliver feedback that enhances patient experiences

Required qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
• Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Intermediate level mathematical proficiency for understanding and interpreting spreadsheet data
