Patient Qualification Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Qualification Specialist will support patients and healthcare providers by managing documentation and health plan requirements remotely to ensure timely access to care.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process new patient orders and documentation to meet health insurance requirements
• Request health plan authorizations and information as needed to facilitate patient care
• Collaborate with field leadership to enhance patient experiences and address common complaints

Required qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, and Word
• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with patients and colleagues
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting spreadsheet data
