Patient Qualification Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Qualification Specialist will support patients and providers by reviewing orders and documentation, ensuring compliance with health insurance requirements, and enhancing patient experiences in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process new patient orders and documentation to facilitate timely care and maximize health plan benefits
• Request health plan authorizations and collaborate with field leadership to improve patient experiences
• Identify and address common complaints by analyzing trends and implementing preventative measures

Required qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
• Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Strong mathematical proficiency for interpreting and developing spreadsheet data
