Patient Qualification Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Qualification Specialist will support local branch offices by reviewing patient orders and documentation to ensure compliance with health insurance requirements, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review new patient orders and documentation to obtain necessary health insurance information
• Request health plan authorizations and provide timely feedback to support field teams
• Identify and address common complaints by collaborating cross-functionally to enhance patient experiences

Required qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
• Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word
• Ability to develop business relationships through effective communication and collaboration
• Strong understanding of health plan benefits and documentation requirements
