Patient Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new patients, the remote Patient Registration Specialist will engage with various stakeholders to coordinate discharge, secure necessary documentation, and assist patients with payment options while managing multiple referrals in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery services
• Creates and communicates required documentation for new referrals and assists with financial assistance options
• Supports activities to ensure clean claims and denial management by following up on missing paperwork

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Ability to multi-task and manage numerous referrals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
