Patient Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new patients, the remote Patient Registration Specialist will engage with patients and referral sources, coordinate discharge processes, and secure necessary documentation and payments while supporting ongoing claims management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and sales teams to coordinate discharge and ensure delivery of services
• Creates and communicates required documentation for new patient referrals
• Secures upfront payments and assists patients in accessing financial assistance programs

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in healthcare or medical billing is preferred
