Patient Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time Patient Registration Specialist will serve as the welcoming voice for new patients, guiding them through the enrollment journey and managing a high volume of calls to ensure a smooth onboarding process remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for new patients via phone and email, providing guidance on initial enrollment steps
• Efficiently register and onboard new patients, verifying insurance information and setting up patient charts in the electronic medical record system
• Perform consistent outreach to encourage new patients to complete outstanding onboarding tasks and provide feedback to improve operational tools

Required qualifications

• At least two years of inbound phone experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting or high-volume customer service role
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks independently while focusing on efficient workflows and enrollment targets
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and various platforms
• Empathetic approach when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying technical comfort levels
• Proactive mindset with adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities
