Job Summary

Serving as the main point of contact for patients and staff, the part-time Patient Representative After Hours will manage scheduling, handle insurance data, and assist patients with pre-visit instructions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient and staff schedules, ensuring clear communication
  • Manage insurance data, demographics, and registration to facilitate smooth appointment processes
  • Assist patients in navigating insurance authorizations and pre-visit instructions
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience
  • Experience with referrals and prior authorizations preferred
  • Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat
  • Ability to handle high-volume calls in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with multiple EHR systems such as Athena, Epic, Dash, Genesys, or Salesforce
