Patient Rescheduling Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Patient Rescheduling Representative will manage patient communication for the Authorization Team by handling rescheduling and cancellation calls, ensuring timely follow-up, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor assigned rescheduling worklist to ensure timely patient contact and follow-up
• Review rescheduling and cancellation instructions, confidently relaying information to patients
• Investigate accounts requiring scheduling updates and appropriately reschedule appointments

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare preferred
• Previous experience in a customer support role preferred
• Familiarity with authorizations or radiology preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle phone communications fluently in English
• Knowledge of office equipment and computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
