Patient Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Research Specialist to support the Patient Billing Department with private pay patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and enter necessary patient information and demographics for EMS claims
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties, including hospitals and insurance providers, to facilitate claim payments
• Search various systems for additional patient information and handle correspondence via mail, email, and telephone

Required Qualifications and Education

• Previous billing experience is preferred
• Ability to work with multiple monitors and handle a high workload
• Dependable and punctual with a professional phone manner
• Experience in dealing with the public is beneficial
• Strong follow-through and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
