Patient Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Research Specialist for their Patient Billing Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of all departments and how they work together towards payment of EMS claims
• Work with external parties such as hospitals, insurance providers, attorneys, and patients
• Handle correspondence via mail, email, and telephone, and perform other assigned duties by management

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task
• Collaborative team player, able to work with all internal departments
• Pleasant and professional phone manner
• Computer literacy, able to work with two monitors
• Previous experience dealing with the public is helpful
