Patient Safety Attendant

Job Summary

Monitoring patient safety from a remote location, the full-time Patient Safety Attendant will observe patients at risk for falls or self-harm, alert the care team to any concerns, and document patient activities accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout the shift

Required qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
