Patient Safety Attendant

Job Summary

Monitoring patients remotely, the full-time Patient Safety Attendant will ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at risk for falls or self-harm by identifying risks, documenting activities, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout shifts

Required qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
