Patient Safety Companion - BLS Required

Job Summary

Providing compassionate observation and companionship, the part-time Patient Safety Companion - BLS Required will monitor patients remotely from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, ensuring their safety and well-being while supporting the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patients continuously to ensure safety and respond promptly to their needs
• Alert nurses or clinical partners when patients require assistance or intervention
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with policies and standards

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, training, or experience)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
