Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Safety Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews patient safety events and submits incidents to the PA Patient Safety Reporting System
• Collaborates with leaders to investigate events and identify opportunities for improvement
• Promotes a culture of safety and supports the organization towards a Just Culture Model

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a healthcare related field is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare field is preferred
• Certification as a Professional in Patient Safety is preferred upon hire
• License or Certification in a healthcare related field is preferred upon hire
