Patient Scheduler

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Scheduler to perform clinical scheduling duties remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls, register new patients, and schedule clinic appointments
• Coordinate referrals and verify insurance coverage while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Utilize EPIC for scheduling, data entry, and managing medical records

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with complex patient scheduling in an electronic medical record system; EPIC experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
• Broad knowledge of medical practice operations and medical terminology
• Familiarity with insurance plans and prior authorization requirements is a plus
