Job Summary
Empowering patients on their healthcare journey, the full-time Patient Scheduler will manage appointment scheduling, provide exceptional customer support, and ensure efficient practice operations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize professional communication to greet patients and address inquiries via phone
- Schedule and modify patient appointments while managing recall and no-show reports
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and assist with financial inquiries and copayment collection
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance payors
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist or Patient Service Representative preferred
