Job Summary

Empowering patients on their healthcare journey, the full-time Patient Scheduler will manage appointment scheduling, provide exceptional customer support, and ensure efficient practice operations in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities
  • Utilize professional communication to greet patients and address inquiries via phone
  • Schedule and modify patient appointments while managing recall and no-show reports
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and assist with financial inquiries and copayment collection
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance payors
  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist or Patient Service Representative preferred
