Job Summary

To ensure efficient patient care, the full-time remote Patient Scheduler II will pre-register and schedule appointments, handle incoming calls, and manage follow-up and referral work queues in a high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, and tests in a timely manner
• Communicate with patient care teams to facilitate appropriate care and manage patient checkouts
• Provide patients with cost estimates and itineraries for upcoming appointments while handling follow-up tasks

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN, Medical Secretary, Health Unit Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT, or similar program
• Proficiency in scheduling across multiple service lines in a complex, high-call volume environment
• Experience in managing work queues and ticket scheduling effectively
