Patient Scheduler II

Job Summary

To support efficient patient care, the full-time Patient Scheduler II will pre-register and schedule patients for appointments and procedures remotely, while managing incoming calls and coordinating with care teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Pre-register and schedule patients for various services, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Handle incoming calls and manage follow-up and referral work queues, accurately entering data into the electronic health record
• Coordinate scheduling of ancillary services and provide patients with cost estimates and itineraries for upcoming appointments

Required qualifications:

• 1 year of clinical healthcare experience or 1 year as a Patient Scheduler I or in a contact/call center
• Proficiency in scheduling multiple service lines in a high-call volume environment
• Experience with patient registration and insurance verification
• Ability to work collaboratively within a care team to enhance customer service and clinical outcomes
