Job Summary
To support a busy call center environment, the part-time Patient Scheduling Assistant will manage patient phone calls for registration and scheduling, providing exceptional customer service while transitioning to a work-from-home setup after initial training.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from patients to complete registration and schedule appointments for primary and specialty care clinics
- Provide superior customer service while communicating effectively with a diverse patient population
- Transition from in-person training to a remote work environment after approximately four weeks
Required qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Two years of previous call center or healthcare experience required
- Associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office Products, is required
