Patient Service Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Service Coordinator - Transportation Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Process transportation requests, reimbursements, and caregiver benefits in JIVA
• Coordinate with members to identify providers within a 50-mile radius and issue administrative denials
• Make calls to members, providers, and transportation vendors while processing authorizations

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Previous experience in healthcare is required
• Preferred experience in health plans, medical, or behavioral health
• Experience with Jiva or EHR/EMR is preferred
• Government program or commercial experience is preferred
