Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative I for a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients and their families, providing information about services and expected wait times
  • Manage patient registrations, including verifying insurance coverage and collecting necessary payments
  • Ensure compliance with pre-registration and registration accuracy, including maintaining knowledge of relevant regulations
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in Patient Access or related fields
  • Intermediate math skills acquired through education or work experience
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic understanding of web-based systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with State & Federal regulations governing Medicare and Medicaid registrations
