Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative I for a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and their families, providing information about services and expected wait times
- Manage patient registrations, including verifying insurance coverage and collecting necessary payments
- Ensure compliance with pre-registration and registration accuracy, including maintaining knowledge of relevant regulations
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in Patient Access or related fields
- Intermediate math skills acquired through education or work experience
- Proficiency in data entry and basic understanding of web-based systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with State & Federal regulations governing Medicare and Medicaid registrations
