Job Summary

To support multiple ambulatory practices, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and resolve questions regarding medication and insurance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to address inquiries and concerns professionally
  • Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage appointments and provide detailed confirmation to patients
  • Attend training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel, while identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group in a team environment
  • Experience with multiple communication tools, including phone calls, online chats, and emails
