Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, including scheduling and resolving patient inquiries
- Document and relay patient information according to Practice guidelines and manage insurance verification and authorization
- Participate in training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel while identifying process improvements
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School diploma/GED is required
- Ability to empathize with patients and explain healthcare issues clearly
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using multiple communication tools effectively
- Ability to document work professionally and efficiently
