Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support to patients in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer calls and emails in a timely manner, addressing various patient inquiries and requests
  • Document call information according to standard operating procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide assistance on advanced call types, including insurance verification and equipment troubleshooting
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, medical billing, or patient services preferred
  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred
  • One year of work-related experience for Level I; additional experience required for Levels II and Lead
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes is preferred
