Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer calls and emails promptly while meeting performance goals
- Handle various call types including inquiries about products, services, and insurance verification
- Document call information and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, medical billing, or patient services preferred
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred
- One year of work-related experience for Level I; additional experience required for higher levels
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes is preferred
